Event #3 By: Adam Parks Hammer Museum and Technology (approved)     Steering away from the typical events, I decided to get creative and roam around the Hammer museum.  While I was there, I noticed that most art in most museums is just a painting or drawing or even a sculpture.  This form of art dates back to when society first began, always having a visual and a way for art to be displayed.  However, I always wondered what the true meaning behind the art stands for, or even what the purpose or the mindset going into the art.  Thankfully, the Hammer museum allowed for a new form of technology, an audio and presentation as if you are a part of a group, being told what the art that is being shown is truly about.  This all stems through technology.      The use of technology allows art to stand on a whole new pedestal.  Andrea Fraser was able to connect to the audience through the use of technology describing her inter...

Space + Art By : Adam Parks Week 9 Blog Space is an art of its own.  The amount of endless exploration and the opportunity that space allows is tremendous.  Not only the idea of space, but the endless contents within space such as planets or rocks or stars or minerals or even potential for life and water, humans are in a constant search for further expansion and exploration, demonstrating the limitless opportunity space allows.
